Club History

Old Skool Car Club a.k.a. OSCC was founded and created in 2008 by its current president Derrick “Big D” Walker. The vision is to partner with owners of hobby, antiques, restorations, and muscle cars to network, fellowship, and to relax while enjoying a nice ride on a beautiful day in the city.  Building a bond amongst members was also a part of Derrick’s vision.  That bond offers support, build long lasting friendships, loyalty, trust and even to aid one another in case of a break down on the side of the road. These babies can be temperamental.  OSCC members are elite and take great pride in the craftsmanship and work put into their prized possessions. With 27 members so far, this club is well known and rising to the top in the city of Atlanta. It is projected that OSCC will develop national chapters.

OSCC held its 1st Annual car show in October 2008 partnered with Kars for Kids Foundation in which a portion of the proceeds were awarded to various children’s local athletic teams to cover the cost of uniforms. The car show was such a success it has been held annually by popular demand! Some of the sponsors of the clubs car shows and events have been Dugans’ of Decatur, Godfather Customs, Malcolm Cunningham Ford, Superior Chevrolet, Marlow’s Tavern, Gentleman Jack, and Supreme Dominoes just to name a few.

Members of OSCC conduct meetings often to prepare and plan for upcoming rides and events. The club is organized and is staffed with a Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, editor and Webmaster.

OSCC calendars will be available soon for purchase to showcase some of Atlanta’s finest, hottest, baddest muscle cars!!

To contact a member of the club please submit your information through this site and we will be in touch. Until then, Let’s Ride…
